Scrapbooking, etc.

Not that I really need to be writing a post about this..but I am actually really excited.  I have always been kind-of against scrapbooking..Way too overwhelming, and I just don't have talent, patience, money, etc for something for someone so not crafty like me.  So, Austin finally talked me into doing Cooper a scrapbook digitally instead of the normal way.  His mom has made like 15 scrapbooks EACH for all of her 6 kids, so he was really pushing for it.  Very grudgingly I began, and quite surprisingly I have really enjoyed it.  It has been lots of fun, a little overwhelming, but not near as much as I thought, and I counted and have over 100 pages now.  I know that is tons and tons of pictures, but I love to look back and I really don't regret having them...It's been a wonderful way to journal too.  It's easy to write out a paragraph digitally than to hand-write it.  So once this year is over I get to print it out.  It's not just for Cooper either, it's a family one...I'm not THAT ambitious to do lots for each child...but happy I did it.  Don't really know why I wanted to write about that, maybe because it's something I really really didn't want to do, but once I tried it I'm really happy for the effort that I've put into it...even if I am vain and love to look at pictures of ourselves...that's probably it...Oh well.  I'm really excited to print it when I get all caught up soon.

Anyway, the end.  Do any of you print off your blog, or do scrapbooking/digital scrapbooking?

Love, Krissi

  1. You inspire me! I am not a scrapbooker either and have told myself that I'm a printer of pictures to put in a photo album, but come to find out... I am not that either! So, I may want to try digital scrapbooking one day. I did just print a picture book recently for Stu's grandpa (we all wrote letters to him and added pics too). I did it through Shutterfly and really liked the final result.
